Happy last week of school for most! We know everyone has a lot going on and have tried to make the swim updates clear and concise below. Please read carefully!

PRACTICE SCHEDULE

There is practice at the usual times Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday this week. During practice on Wednesday, the coaches will be collecting race event times for swimmers; please make every effort to attend. This will help the coaches determine the best events for your swimmer to participate in during the meets.

NO PRACTICE THURSDAY (5/25) due to the end of the school year activities at the Hampton Hall clubhouse/pool for neighborhood residents only.

New Practice Schedule Next Week (May 29-June 2)

Monday, May 29 - NO PRACTICE FOR MEMORIAL DAY

Tuesday, May 30 (same evening schedule we've been following):

• 5:00-5:45 PM 7-10 year olds
• 5:45-6:15 PM 6 & under (tadpoles)
• 6:15-7:00 PM 11 & up

Wednesday, May 31 & Thursday, June 1 - New Practice Times!

• 9:00-9:45 AM 7-10 year olds
• 9:45-10:15 AM 6 & Under
• 10:15-11:00 AM 11 & up

Thursday, June 1 - First meet against the Wexford Waves. Please plan to have your swimmer at the meet by 4:30 PM for attendance and warm up; the meet will start at 5:30 PM. Information including address/directions and other details will be sent closer to the meet.

Friday, June 2 - Fun Friday (all ages together) from 10-11 AM! Come pick up the ribbons your swimmer earned at the meet the night before, get donuts and have fun in the pool as a team! Coaches will be there with the team to provide oversight.

SWIM MEET SIGN UP

The week before a swim meet, parents are required to indicate if their swimmer will attend the meet or not. This is the only way the coaches will know to schedule your swimmer for events during the meet. The sign up for the first two meets are now open. To submit your swimmer's availability, follow these steps:

1. Go to the team website
2. On the right hand side, look for the section labeled 'Next Meet'. You will see a green box that says 'Meet Entry'. Click that box.
3. You will see each of your swimmers listed. Click the Edit button.
4. Select the option from the drop down next to each swimmer to indicate if they will attend or will not attend the meet.

Please do this no later than Sunday, May 28 in order to give the coaches time to assign the events to each swimmer before the meet line up deadline. You will need to do this each week in June and we will do you best to remind you. The second meet is also open; if you want to do both now, you can.

MEET VOLUNTEER SIGN UPS

We need parents to help at home and away swim meets - it takes all of us to have a successful meet. Later this week I will send an email with a brief summary of the roles we will need at the first two away swim meets and the link to sign up. Please make every effort to have one parent from each household volunteer for something. Each role is important and you will be able to see your swimmer's events. Additional volunteers from older siblings, grandparents, etc. are welcome too!
