Hello Hurricanes!

It’s hard to believe but this is the last week of our swim team season. Thank you so much to our swimmers and volunteers for all their hard work in the heat at last week’s meet! The final score was Saddle Creek Dolphins 397 – Hampton Mall Hurricanes 331. Congratulations to our swimmers of the week Maia Mordecai and Mia Bousarkis!

Practices this week will be in the morning on Monday and on Tuesday.

Our last meet is away this Tuesday, June 28th at White Columns. The address is 300 Clubhouse Drive, Milton, GA 30004, USA — Directions

Swimmer arrival time is 4:30pm and the meet will start at 5:30pm.

One last time, we need you to mark your swimmers’ attendance and volunteer to help for this week’s meet by 11am on Monday. Please go to https://hhhurricanes.swimtopia.comnow and use the two green buttons to RSVP and volunteer. Please remember to update your status if it changes.

To celebrate the end of a great season, we are going to get together on Wednesday, June 29^that 7pm at the Hampton Hall clubhouse upper level. The coaches will be handing out our annual paper plate awards and we are working on putting together a slideshow to showcase the season. If you have taken any pictures over the season and would like to have them included in the slideshow or if you are able to take some photos at the meet this week, please upload them to the following site: https://hamptonhallhurricanesswimteam.shutterfly.com. If you have trouble getting into the Shutterfly site, please let us know and we can resend your invitation to join the site.

After the awards, the kids will get a sweet treat with a visit from the Kona Ice Truck. Families are welcome to swim and hangout at the pool after the ceremony but please be aware that there will not be a lifeguard on duty.
